Tissue and Bone Bank

Dhruv lab has recently started a bone bank facility. Sterile bone chips would be made available for surgeons. They are required during major surgeries and bone reconstruction procedures. Sterile bone chips that are tested and properly processed would be made available. The facility would also accept bones like femoral head. These would be processed and then properly stored. Dhruv lab will initially functioning as a bone storage and retrieval center. This is done in collaboration with Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.In biology, tissue refers to a group of similar cells that perform a specific function within an organism.
